Croydon BID business crime reduction manager

Croydon BID covers an area of approximately 1,500 businesses; of which c.560 contribute financially through an annual levy of 1% creating an annual budget of £1million for Croydon BID. Croydon BID is in its third term and has an exciting opportunity for an individual with the relevant experience and a can-do attitude.


The role of business crime reduction manager will predominately involve the day to day management of the Croydon business crime reduction partnership (CBCP) portfolio and the delivery of several safe and & secure projects as part of the BID’s ‘Investing in your Safety’ portfolio.


We are looking for an experienced project manager with the relevant experience to deliver a variety of crime reduction initiatives and with the ability to create new solutions working as both part of a team and independently on occasion. Working with the CBCP board and its watch committees you will be expected to introduce, implement and oversee initiatives designed to reduce town centre crime, working with local businesses, partners and major stakeholders including the Metropolitan Police.


As the manager of the CBCP, you will be expected to oversee and administer all watch groups with a view to increasing the Croydon business crime reduction partnership membership and its effectiveness in reducing town centre crime.


You need to have experience of managing budgets, be organised and structured and have the ability to create long term viable relationships that deliver tangible results. Previous experience of working for a crime partnership is desirable but not a necessity.  A proven track record of successful project delivery, with partner organisations is a must.
