‘Stripping the Heart Out of Britain’ - ACPO Inaugural Non-Ferrous Metal Theft Seminar
As worldwide prices of copper, lead and other non-ferrous metals continue to rise, metal theft has become one of the most serious crimes blighting our communities. It is estimated to be costing the British economy in excess of £800 million per year. The first ACPO national forum will provide a platform for those involved in tackling these crimes both in rural areas and towns and cities to discuss the current issues and help to formulate a collaborative plan for the future.
The seminar is taking place on Wednesday 8th February 2012 at Kettering Conference Centre, Thurston Drive, Kettering, NN15 6PB from 8.30am - 4.30pm.

- The focus of the event will be on greater collaborative working, increased intelligence and information sharing.
