Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry joins AABC

We are pleased to announce that the Birmingham chamber, the oldest in the country, has joined AABC as a corporate supporter. They will work with us to promote our security and insurance service to their members and other midlands businesses through the Business Crime Reduction Unit (BCRU).

The chamber is the first in the UK to join AABC in helping to promote the BCRU range of security services aimed at assisting the SME sector to reduce the likelihood of burglary, fire and other identified risks and make themselves more insurable by adopting good security measures.

Steve Jolliffe, marketing director at the chamber said, 'Small businesses are under great pressure and we welcome initiatives such as this which helps them to reduce the risk of them becoming a victim of crime, with all that can entail for business continuity and continuing profitability.'

The Business Crime Reduction Unit, which can be accessed from the AABC home page, provides SME businesses with good quality, affordable security and alarm systems, which then brings business insurance within reach where it may have either been refused, or been subject to a significant premium loading because of identified risks.
