Hounslow Business Against Crime Group

Fighting to keep the streets of Hounslow safe has led a group of Hounslow retailers being awarded the Safer Business Award for the second time.

 Having first scooped the award in 2005, once again Hounslow Business Against Crime Group received the award from Action Against Business Crime and were presented with a plaque by Sandy Hobbs of AABC on 19th August.

The group includes retailers from the Treaty Centre, Blenheim Centre, licensed premises, Holy Trinity Church, Hounslow bus garage and the High Street CCTV who work together by circulating crime statistics and pictures of the most active criminals. Directly linked to a team of five police constables, together they have helped to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour on Hounslow High Street and the surrounding area.
